I would like to think Tree was using his K2 at W5WMU....

If you are thinking about a fine little contest radio that can take a
pounding and has an excellent receiver, the K2 is it!

I used K2's #2012 & #2223.

Comments:

SO2R with Elecraft K2's, fine radios and they work very good with NA S/W in a
SO2R control configuration. Had a dreaded power failure 2 hours before the end
of the contest. I hadn't run a savelog for quite some time, instant panic. No
problem, NA recovered well, didn't lose a Q, just 12 minutes. I never
recovered
after the power failure though. Hats off to Tree, what a super QRP effort at
WMU.
