On CW, it's definitely an issue also. All should be aware that even
clean CW signals have bandwidth -- wider when the speed is faster.
I don't know the formula for CW bandwidth vs WPM, but I do know that the
FCC commonly sends violation notices to hams who operate within 100 Hz or
so from the band edge, for example 14000.10 kHz.
Also, most of today's modern transceivers (not Elecraft) have key clicks
on CW extending as far as +/-2 kHz or more from the carrier frequency.
These guys must be even more careful of their frequency when operating
near the bottom edge of the band.
