Hi David,
The new T44-7 toroid is a factor of 8 more stable than either the old T44-8 or the
original solenoidal inductor. It also has less leakage, so it's a win-win solution. On the
other hand, it's costing us a lot to get them pre-wound, but we feel that it's worth it to
reduce the drift for those who have been inconvenienced by it.
We'll announce the mod kit price and availability next week.
