I've also done some side by side A/B tests with the K2 and the PRO
receivers on SSB. I have never been able to copy a signal on one that
I couldn't copy on the other. However, by using the DSP filters, the
automatic notch, and passband tuning I can sometimes make signals more
comfortable to listen to on the PRO, especially when monitoring a net.
Like most things, it all depends on your operating environment and
personal preferences.
