See this url for a bit of info, Dan.  It is software to use with the K2 
and KIO2.  With a computer connected to the K2/KIO2 running K2Server and 
a remote computer (e.g., on a LAN) running K2Remote, you can operate the 
K2 from the remote computer -- as best I understand it (K2Server not 
having been released yet).

it is a piece of software to be run on the pc where the K2 remote
software
is on.
 
This would enable you to look at and control the settings of the K2 from
anywhere around the world, as long as the shack pc has an internet
connection, and at the "other" end you also have access to a pc with an
internet connection. The only snag is the audio, Eric hasn't come up with
a
way to convey that over the internet (at least that was the case abt half
a
year ago...).
 
Sending eg: typing a cw message is no problem, just type in the
characters
and the K2 will send them.
