Use the female on the board. The other two are for the cable. Hopefully, =
the additional female will show up before you need the cable for =
testing. Have you asked for a replacement yet? RS will have something =
which will do, but the covers might not match.

btw, both M and F connectors both have pins on the cable (or pc board) =
side. The M has pins on both sides.

Hi Guys,

Just doing the inventory of parts for the various options and I'm a=20
little confused by the description in the inventory list for the KIO2.=20
The list indicates x2,  9 pin female 'D' connectors and x1, 9 pin male=20
connector. This may be just semantics, but my kit contains 2 connectors=20
with 9 pins, and 1 connector with 9 sockets.  To my mind thats 2 male=20
and one female!

Either way, can someone tell me if I have the right components?
