[Elecraft] K1 illumination

     I had a similar experience.  I tried both red and white leds inside
the case and didn't get worth-while results.  I may try again in the
future.  I also turned the RIT/XIT led around during construction; now it
matches my Icom, makes more intuitive sense to me, and lets me RIT around
w/out being blinded :).
