     The operation of the "XIT [PFn]" (push-and-hold of the RIT) is
programmable.  Dunno how it got changed in your rig, but go into the menu
and look for the PFn option, edit, and scroll through the options until it
says "nor" for normal (xit).  You can also program it for a variety of
other options; see the manual :).
