sure you can....
but if you want to swap lids with another k2 owner; & or add the
WONDERFUL 100 PA LID, you'll have to always remember....what was that which 
i did ???? don't get crazy about pulling the lid off the finals, it's 
almost fun and not so tough as it seems.  While you're in there, you might 
consider color coding the 12 Vdc Plug/jack  Vs  the RF  plug/jack.
When I did the tuner & battery option, I used red permanent magic marker on 
the 12v  and blue on the rf...   When I took the cabinet side off this 
morning, to see that all my cables were not pinched  ( kpa100 installation) 
I found that I had marked the  RF & 12vdc plugs such that my lettering 
12  & RF  very clearly faced out the side.  what luck .  The AMP WORKING 
FIRST TRY IS NOT LUCK.  Cool instructions. DAMN COOL AMP.
