I have updated the webpage so you can see the insides of my K2 power supply
as well and added better pictures of the outside.

Asd you see there is not a lot of space so things are a little crowded. Plus
I tried to maintain ventilation as keep those holes open. It appears the
meters with the shunt for the Amp meter will need no calibration. Even
though the amp measures up to 30 amps I can watch the meter flicker when you
turn on the K2 at less than 1 amp. The only REAL problem was the fact that
the back of the EC2 is split and not solid as most power supplies are. This
made it difficult to mount everything on the back split panel but it was
possible.

You mentioned schematics for the Astron Switching PS. I called Astron and
was informed by the man there that they do not give out schematics with
their Switching Power Supplies. Then I asked if I could get one and he told
me they didn't give them out either? I'm wondering if I was misinformed or
what? The linear is not a problem to get schematics for but let me know if
you do manage to get one. I guess part of their switching PS is a secret?
However, I still like their power supplies and consider them one of the best
(At least for my purposes). I had thought about trying to pull the
information out of the K2 for the clock and Volt/Amp meter and have it
display all the time on another display. Then I realized you would probably
have to use the RS232 to get the information. Then I could not interface my
K2 with a computer. Has anyone else thought about this? Be curious to hear
what others might have to do with an EC2 or suggestions.
