[Elecraft] See My NEW K2 Power Supply in EC2 Enclosure!

Rick,

I think we have a first prototype for the KPS-100!

On their linear supplies, Astron has the output on the boards for the
meters that go on the front, weither the supply has them mounted or
not. The current output is actually a voltage/low current output that is
proportional to the current output of the supply. The supply itself has to
be aware of what it is outputing, so it can current limit itself. I
suspect the same thing may exist on the switchers, if the same folks worked
on the design. You may see an indication on the schematic for the supply
near the output where a line goes back into itself. Problem is, you have
to have a meter that matches their scale on the metered PS to use it. Or,
feed it into a microprocessor, and then display it on the
K2......Hey, that might be a cool trick. (Note to Wayne, Need USB or
RS-422 interface for K3 for external devices........)

The meters you chose are SWEET! Glad the gave you a shunt, and not shunted
you.

Good work on the Power supply.
