I have a W3FF "buddypole" trapped dipole (made from plastic pipe,speaker =
wire and 2 telescoping antennas) up on a 12 foot painter's pole strapped =
to the rail on the deck. That puts it up about 26' off the ground (65ft =
above sea level). Tunes 20-17-15-12-10 with the traps.

Cheap, You can aim it, and it actually works fairly well.

I used it with my K1 and had good results.
The house is on a small lot and room is at a premium. I think a GAP =
antenna is next.
