[Elecraft] Strange Things Happening

Hello All,

	I had a strange experience this morning with my K2(s/n 02097.)
When I powered it up I did a scan of the 40 meter CW band and it did not
find a signal. I thought that strange. I check to see if the antenna was
connected well. Then I did a scan of the 20 meter CW band and the same
thing happened. Then I tried to find a signal on the phone bands with no
luck. I check and put my filters wide opened and tried again, still
nothing. I did a tune to test tx and that was working fine. I remembered
that sometimes wierd behavior is eliminated by turning off the power
then powering up again, so I did this and it worked fine.

	This leads to questions.
1. Do things like this happen occasionally to all of the K2's?
2. Can I expect this to happen again at some time in the future?
3. Does it appear to anyone else that I might have a problem that should
be traced down and eliminated?
4. Is it possible that I had a stuck relay? There are many relays, but I
thought most of them if not all of them were for switching from band to
band.
5. Is it possible that somehow the memory in one of the IC chips gets
temporarily messed up?

	If I do have a problem I do want to fix it so it does not get
out of hand. Up to this point everything has been working just super and
I find the rig very enjoyable to use and I want to keep it that way.
