[Elecraft] Building K2 with options in mind

Greetings All,

I am currently building a K2 and I am at the point where the =
instructions are telling me to install some jumper wires on the RF board =
(W2,W3,W5 I believe).   I know that these jumpers will be removed when I =
install the SSB option board (which I am also building).  My question =
is:  If I build the RF board with the parts installed on it that are =
needed for the SSB adaptor will it affect the results of the check out =
and alignment steps for the base K2?  Or should I just build the base =
K2, check it out and align it, then remove and/or add the parts required =
by the SSB board?
