Hi all,
        I ordered and received a KNB1 Noise Blanker(warm up for K1) it =
only took around 7 days to arrive, excellent service! I put it together =
today and have some observations, generally I enjoyed the experience, =
however, I won't know if my soldering is up to scratch, the proof will =
have to wait until I can try the NB out in a K1.
It would have been nice to get the latest board(I got a revision =
C) I assume the latest board would have required less parts tack =
soldered onto the underside. The toroids were easier to wind than I had =
anticipated, although they don't look nice and neat like all those =
photos on the Web.
The least enjoyable part of the experience was tinning the =
toroid leads, what a pain! I hope this gets easier as I go along. The =
manual is great, clear and I like the solder and tick procedure.
So I'm looking forward to tackling the K1, won't be long now.
                                                                         =

                                                                         =
