With one exception, CW Messages can ONLY be recorded using the K2's
ELECTRONIC KEYER. You cannot use a handkey or an external keyer to load
messages. THe K2 must be able to monitor and capture the contact closures
of a paddle connected to the DIT and DAH contacts of the keyer.
The notable exception is a program written by Leo Starrenburg, PL5LS which
allows you to type a message into your PC and then have it send the PADDLE
closures to the K2, which will then capture the cyber-contact closures and
record the message.
