[Elecraft] Victory is Mine! K2 #2491 Is on the Air!

Greetings from Tigard Oregon!  I just finished my first QSO with my freshly
completed (basic CW rig) K2 #2491.  It was with WA7QQK in Auburn Wa., on
7063khz.  RST 579 with 8 watts.  Now, I know this is not earth shaking news
for most folks.  However, not bad for a temporary 60 foot long dipole up
20ft on the west end and 10 feet at the east end, fed in the middle with TV
twinlead and a homebrew T matcher. Near Vertical propagation, I guess.
Well, after 25 years of straight key, side swiper, and Bug, I now need to
learn the iambic keyer.  It will take a bit of getting used to, but I think
I like it so far.  Its fun!  Well, another K2 success story, and now before
the iron gets cold, back to the SSB board and the noise blanker!  (Well, not
more _tonight_.)
