My comment was meant in the general spirit of reducing the copied text as much
as possible while retaining a basic context for your reply. (95% is not an
absolute amount.) Many people (almost 50%) read this list in daily digest mode
(and many on dial ups that charge by the minute). Reading a digest with the same
comments copied over and over is almost impossible. Also the size of the
download can grow significantly when way too much is copied. This IS a major
problem for our readers outside the US who do not have relatively low cost high
speed links.

Unless you are answering a list of questions, it certainly is easy to retain
context with a few copied sentences. Interested readers who need more can review
the earlier messages under the same title either in their mail folders or on the
on line web page based list archives at http://www.elecraft.com/elist.html
