I checked the varactors at D3 and D4

On the Anode of D3 - I get 5.18 vdc when fully CW and 5.46 vdc when
fully CCW. I get 0 vdc on the cathode.

On the anode of D4 - I get 2.7 vdc with no change in voltage while
spinning the VFO tuning knob....otherwise known as big blue pot.

So on the main varactor diode (D3) I am seeing difference on voltage
but the docs don't say what it is supposed to be.

Anyone?

Someone has suggested I investigate the big blue pot...perhaps I have
it in wrong...I'll do that next.
