I hope you are not band switching while keyed down, as this implies -- 
likely not a good idea.

If the HiCur is an LCD indicator on the K2, it means the K2 current is 
high in driving the KAT100, not that the KAT100 is drawing high current. 
 But if you read it on a meter, as implied, then it is the PA.

Aside from that, I've neverrun that test (and seldom operate on 160.
