[Elecraft] Volume increase wanted

You didn't say which rig.  But with boht my K1 and K2, I run the AF gain 
at about 10 o'clock and have plenty of audio (and I'm half deaf, literally).

Methinks there is something wrong in your rig.  I'd go here
