Gary,

Thanks for your sentiments on this. As internal true-RS232 interfaces
go, we do feel that ours is pretty unobtrusive. Certainly our
high-frequency DC-DC converter is a huge improvement over the use of
200-kHz on-chip converters, which can trash large parts of the low bands
in particular. 

However, even though the remaining birdies are weak, we'd like to
eliminate them if possible. We've put together a more comprehensive list
of possible approaches and will report back to the group.
