[Elecraft] Help needed with KPA100

I got to the point in construction where the KPA board is connected to the
K2 via the ribbon cable.  The K2 won't see the amp.  I have checked voltages
on the ICs contained on the amp board and all are proper.  All resistance
checks were also proper.  I don't have the correct firmware for the SSB
board but that is on its way from Elecraft.  I don't believe that could be
the cause.  I have checked for bad solder joints, improper component
placement, etc. The secondary menu in the K2 firmware shows the PA setting
with two dash marks behind it indicating that the PA is not present.  I sure
could use some ideas. Thanks, Todd   WA7U
