I recently ordered the Rig Blaster (love it) with the accessory pack of
connectors, and crimping tool. The crimp tool is awful! Just like Steve
describes, the 'crimp prong V is grossly off center'. I would have returned
it for a replacement, but I figured I'd just get one that was worse. I can
make it work but I find that I prefer to just solder the connections anyhow.
We can put a man on the moon, we can build little radio's to talk to him (or
bounce off him and back to Earth) but we can't make an affordable, quality,
crimp tool?
On a positive note, the PA is coming along nicely, I need more hours in the
day so I can get it done. So far, I'm actually taking my time. When I get
tired, I go to bed instead of staying up real late. THAT takes will
power! I'll tell you what!
