I didn't notice it on mine until reading John's e-mail and I looked at it
closely.  Mine is also just slightly low, but it also is lower on the
right side than the left side.

Alignment is governed by the holes for the LCD pins in the front panel PC
board, so I don't believe there is any way to align the LCD with the
window unless anyone has found a method.

I suppose new K2 kit builders could slightly adjust LCD centering by
slightly bending the LCD's pins appropriately before soldering.  I
certainly don't want to attempt removing my LCD to do this to correct the
slight error in alignment.
