All this gets you is a 20-25% increase in efficiency at 5 watts output.  If you
don't operate on batteries, this is irrelevant.  If you DO operate on batteries,
it's actually a very small improvement in battery life because of the small
amount of time the key is actually down in an operating session.

If you run a modified K2 at more than 5 watts out, you will get much poorer
efficiency plus the possibility of increased IMD on SSB and clicks on CW.  In my
opinion, if you are a QRP-only operator, just set the Power control to 5 watts.
