I suspect that, as usual, no one was in the office at Elecraft on
Saturday. Sometimes there are weekend posts from Gary, Wayne and Eric.
But Gary is in AZ and Wayne is seldom "in the office" (his location is
on the SF pennisula and Aptos in near Santa Cruz). And I think Gary is
in the mountains somewhere this weekend and Wayne is in Seaside, OR.

As I recall, the first msg was not a "complaint" but a request for info
re was something really missing -- was there supposed to be a second bag
of parts?. And it was posted at 1530 PDT yesterday.
In any case -- having been in need of parts on a weekend myself
(replacement for something defecting from my own doing) -- expecting a
shipment to go out on Sat is not all that realistic So "Monday at the
earliest" was pretty much inevitable. In fact, there is something I
found I need Friday night; I never even gave calling Aptos before Monday
AM a thought.
I'm not sure which parts Jim is missing and which ones he has. First
thing would be to do a complete inventory (may have already been done)
to make sure there is not more than a single bag of parts missing. But
if he has the parts for first board to be built, he should be able to
get started on the build. I'm sure Elecraft will move whatever
mountains are necessary to get the missing things to him post haste (or
even hastier that "post")
