Go to the KI6WX website and look up his SSB Filter mods. It summarizes them
all, and adds some new info.

I have done the 2nd Xtal Fil Flattening mod - definitely worth it.

Also, with the two rigs, it is easy to listen to your own audio in both USB
and LSB and compare.  In my case, I had my wife listen after I did the
spectrogram alignment and then tweaked until she thought I had the best
compromise...
