Many thanks to all who responded to my question
regarding where to find a "handle" to mount on the
side of my K2 ...
Most replies pointed towards the handle found on
the side of current Icom/Kenwood/Yaesu radios ...
One of the NEWEST K2 GALLERY pictures (just=20
above the K2 in McMurdo Station, Antarctica pix)
shows a K2 with just such a handle ...=20
That K2 belongs to Randy, WJ4P ... he was kind=20
enough to supply the Kenwood Part Number ...
Here's his reply to me:
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
Its a Kenwood handle part number KO1-0420-05
BTW, the Kenwood TS-57 (TS-570?) outer rubber
ring on the main tuning dial knob fits perfectly on
the stock K2 knob. I have gone back to the stock
knob now since putting it on there.

=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
So ... for all of you who wanted to know what the replies=20
were, this is the handle that I'm going to order ...
BTW ... Other replies warned that placement of any=20
handle gets critical if you have installed (or plan to=20
install) the KPA-100 !!!
