The problem is not a stripped hole.  The problem is that this is a long slot
(runs the entire length of the heatsink) and the screw only bites into two
small areas of it.  I doubt a heli-coil will work, since they are
effectively a spring that you "tighten", insert into a hole, then allow it
to "unwind" slightly and grip the hole.
