If you keep in mind that the left column of pins are connected to the inards
of the K2 while the right column pins connect to the corresponding pins of
the mike connector, you should be able to wire it for most any mike. For
the elecraft mic, the pins are wired straight across, and you can even use
the configuration jumpers from old computer I/O cards to make the
connections rather than soldering to the pins of P1 - much better if you
ever change mics in the future.
Tom, N0SS had a great method for using the IDS connectors from a computer
cable to make the connections too. You cut the connector with enough pins
(sockets) to mate with the pins of P1 and do all the soldering on top of the
connector block.
