[Elecraft] K3 Ideas

My "wish list" for a K3 would include:

* All the features of the K2/100.

* Physically larger - like the same size as a TS-850.

* Separate frequency displays and tuning knobs for each VFO, a la FT-1000MP.

* Dual receive (VFO A left ear, VFO B right ear) a la FT-1000MP.  This 
  would be an improvement for 40SSB contesting and DXing. 

* Front panel access to SSB monitor - on/off and monitor volume level.

* Selectable tuning rates - from 1.5kHz/rev (current stock K2 value) up to 
  10-12 kHz/rev at the 10Hz frequency resolution step size.

* More/better receive filter passband shaping controls.

* Manually tuned notch filter.

* 100W automatic tuner in the box.

* Voice keyer module option that interfaces with TR, NA, CT, etc. as well
  as front-panel operation.

* It might be kind of cool to have a back panel with punch-out holes for
  BNCs that would let you add up to, let's say, six pairs of BNCs for 
  assignable, dedicated transverter connections.
