[Elecraft] 817 audio better than K2?

I've had the opportunity to compare the 817 and K2 and personally I prefer 
the K2. 

However, I must agree that the 817 has louder and stronger audio. When the 
817 was on, my daughter said, "Hey Dad, please lower that, you can hear it 
outside!" I often find that the K2's volume level must be set near max and 
it's never in danger of being too loud!
