[Elecraft] 1st Time Kit building

My first kits were ordered from Small Wonder labs [apologies to
Elecraft] and these IMHO were good kits to start on.

Soldering is an art which, for most people, takes a good amount of time
to acquire a good talent at the art.

Yes, definitely practice, but not on the K2 kit.  I recommend that you
buy a much easier kit to build first because the K2 requires that the
builder has mastered the art of soldering.  Perhaps one of the Ramsey
Electronics kits would be a good first project for you.
