[Elecraft] KSB2 Increased Gain Mod

John Grebenkemper's mod to increase the SSB output on 10 meters looks very 
interesting to me.  When tuning up my K2/100 puts out 100 watts on 12 and 10 
meters; but if my Bird 43 wattmeter movement in SSB is any indication, the 
KSB2 needs a little help on these higher frequencies.  The only thing that 
bothers me about this mod is having to rewind T2 because pins 2 and 4 are so 
far apart it doesn't appear that the existing 2 and 4 leads can be switched.  
I also wonder if the Elecraft MH-2 mike has the appropriate gain so the 2.2K 
resistor can be added between Pins 1 and 2 of U5 on the KSB2 Board to produce 
some soft clipping of voice peaks.This is John Grebenkemper's KSB2 Reduced 
Intermodulation Distortion Modification.  Is the IMD acceptable in the 
various levels of compression?  I would like to hear from anyone who has 
installed these mods and especially anyone who has made the mods and is using
