Thanks for the clarification on that, Dan.  I don't have the I/O kit in
my K2, so I just assumed that it was like most other rigs and used a
serial cable.

So change my step #4 advice to Roy, W4WFB to:

4) Connect your K2 to an unused com port on your computer using the cable
you built with the KIO2 (or KPA100?), then turn on the computer and your
K2 and run the program.
