[Elecraft] How 'bout a USB interface?

I agree, an Ethernet port would be very nice :) Might be overkill compared to RS232 but what the heck we can dream can't we? RS232 is pretty simple to program just
look up a few code fragments and you'll see. USB is not simple. My K2 already has at least 5 uControllers in it why should we add more just to link to a computer? Didn't
we buy and build the K2 so we could have some fun and not have to deal with computers? I build Elecraft kits to get away from my work as a software and computer
engineer. It is a welcome relief to not have a monitor staring me in the face. I put on my headphones and relax while listening to the world talk about their kids, their
grandkids and their antennas. I have a blast and get some relaxation. If you want to deal with networking I can get you a job as a network administrator where everyone
hates you. Good paying job ($100k +) but not my cup of tea.
   Kevin.
