[Elecraft] OT: Elpac Switching PS

G'morning Elecrafters:

Several of us in the past have purchased the Elpac 42 watt(WRI4212, 12v,
3.5A) switching power supply to use with the K2. I am quite happy with it...
adjusted the oputput voltage up to about 13.9 volts and it has performed
well. When I saw a 72 watt(6 amp) version (W7212, 12v, 6.0 amp) advertised
in the All Electronics catalog in the same package as the 3.5 amp version, I
decided to buy it. It arrived yesterday and, much to my dismay, I discovered
that there is no internal adjustment of the output voltage... or if there
is, it is completely covered up with the globs of adhesives that secure the
components.  Output voltage measures 12.1v. So, if you were thinking about
buying this for use with the K2, you might keep this in mind.
