OK. I must be missing something here. I thought the new RTTY mode used LSB
all the time. I presume the firmware selects the appropriate sideband
according to band in order to maintain this. I can't see why CW couldn't
work the same way. It wouldn't require the radio do do anything it can't at
the moment. It would merely require it to use "CWR" when "CW" is selected
on 21MHz and above, and vice versa, so that the actual sideband used when
"CW normal" is selected is always the same on all bands.

Is it more complicated than that?
