Hi Nicholoas,
The PIC is supposed to run on 6V per our K2 design. There is -no- problem with
this and has been confirmed by the microchipPIC engineering department.
We rarely see PIC's go bad once they have been confirmed as being programmed
properly. Since yours worked initially, I suspect the problem is elsewhere,
unless the part was damaged somehow.
I've forwarded your comments to Gary, [email protected] . As a note to
everyone, if you are still stuck after posting a problem to the reflector,
please email [email protected] directly. Gary does not always read this list
daily, but he does read his direct email promptly. He has a high speed full time
internet connection.
