Hi Vince,

The K1 display only shows the RX freq.  Use RIT to tune to the split frequency
then switch to XIT.  You will then be transmitting on whatever frequency you set
with RIT. This is good because by using RIT to change freq you will be listening
to the frequency you intend to transmit on before transmitting. Switching
between RIT and XIT will let you listen to your transmit frequency easily. You
can tune around in a pileup in RIT, decide which is the best frequency to call
on, then switch to XIT to transmit there.
