Yes.  You have to set the K2 into a mode that accepts CAT commands.  Mode 
is K23.  Here is my macro I call PSK31 Initilize:  It does a bunch of 
things for both the program and the K2.  Check the K2IO programming manual 
to see what does what.

Yes.  Use the Kenwood RCP program which I got from the Kenwood web site.
