I too applaud elecrafts efforts toward seamless QSK, and it is one of the
great features of my K2....

I find it very useful even when ragchewing. It is sure nice to laugh at the
other fellows joke when
he makes it, for example.  Also, you will hear him respond to that "QRL?"
when you are transmitting, 
and know to back up a word or two with what you were sending. So much easier
to just send a "?" when
a static crash takes out a word, rather than trying to discribe what was
missed long after the fact.

In a close in contact, the sending operator may well hear the problem as it
occurs and can repeat a word 
without being prompted.

Knowing that he has good QSK is one of the great joys of working an op using
another elecraft rig.
