[Elecraft] K2 Just Evaporated!!

It's gone,  well actually turning around in Honolulu to
go back to the mainland.  Why?  The fellow who
offered it in trade couldn't sleep last night;  he was
filled with great regret after all the love and time he
had spent assembling and using it.  He is now going
to send just plain ordinary money,  and has called
Fed Ex to turn the K2 around before it ever gets
to Kauai.

Actually,  I am a bit relieved also.  After spending a lot
of time at the Elecraft web site,  viewing the pictures,
and thinking of the small dimensions,  I am not too sure
I would have been that comfortable using the little fellow.
I would never have taken the K2 into the "field".

My vision is not too swift anymore.  So I will keep my
Ten Tec Corsair II rather than selling it/trading in to TT
for credit against my new Pegasus software defined
radio.  Knobs and buttons on the Corsair,  I can easily
see and use; similarly with a bright monitor screen,
no problem with the Pegasus graphics.

Thanks to the many of you who had already begun to
respond to my initial questions about the K2 use and
operation.
