Mike,

In addition to Leo's information, there was some information about winding 
torroids differently, due to a problem with the value of the material they 
were made of.

Hopefully this will jog someone's memory, as I have not retained the 
e-mail.  Might also be worth reviewing builder's notes on elecraft.com.
