While my K2 is still a-building, I have a Heil HM-10 Dual that was 
bought for me off-the shelf in a store. On hooking it up to my Yaesu 
FT-847 I discovered that one element was dead. One phone call to Heil 
and *four* days later, the mike was shipped back to me in perfect 
working order.  

Stuff happens. Heil customer service rocks.

stitch of trouble.
