Dear All,

I appreciate all your comments regarding this matter.

I did ring the RA today (RSGB is closed until the 7th) and I did ask whether 
even though I would not be allowed on 10m could I still buy a secondhand rig 
if it had 10m as standard (since almost all do).

They said no.

Which is rather annoying since this virtually eliminates all the second hand 
options. So it looks like I will be getting the K2 with the standard IOC 
chip and just leave out the associated 10m components. Although I am 
slightly puzzled how this will affect allignment of 12m in the rig.
