[Elecraft] Winding of coils and toriods

I have wound a couple of small diameter core torids and did not create
enough loops through the core. For example, I wound a toroid and used 14
turns throught the coil. I meant to do 16 turns. I cleaned the red wire
with the iron after the 14 turns. May I steal a couple of turns from the
bare wire, or do I need to start over. Thanks for your help.
