[Elecraft] KB7OEX: Advent. Radio Soc. review

Hi folks - 

It was interesting to read the K1 review info and Eric's response at
ww.natworld.com/ars (the Adventure Radio Society). Both the review and
the response make me want to throw in my own "test" comments. For the
moment I have a 4 band K-1, a full-house K2, an OMNI V.9 (for sale), and
an ICOM 756PRO sitting in my shack. 

I do a lot of AB testing with these rigs - with my ears - it's the only
lab instrument I REALLY understand hi hi. I ignore all the lab data once
these rigs are on the table and simply ask myself - what can I hear and
how well can I hear it? There is no doubt in my mind that the K1 and K2
do the best job. The K2 does have a "silkier" feel to it than the K1 (of
course).....but I find both rigs represent the BEST in my shack (big or
small) as far as pure ability to hear. 

Just wanted to throw that in. :-)
