[Elecraft] I >>like<< the K2 knob

I suspect that the likers of the K2 knob are purist and mostly CW ops that
do not have such a wide band spectrum to tune as on the phone sections. I
really like my FT-100 knob not because of the finger dimple but because the
front corers slop inward and is coated with a soft rubber shell. It makes
tuning around on the phone bands much easier with just a touch of the index
finger. I think it looks nicer too. It seems to be made for the K2. With
my K2 I find that even with no felt pad between the knob and face plate the
tuning has just the right amount of tension. It is no way near free
wheeling.
As far as the tuning rate goes. I have become used to tapping the Rate key
on a frequent basis. It took a little time to get used to it.
